Brief introduction to the products The ZGS口一12 prefabricated substation (also known as the American substation) is a complete set of novel power distribution equipment developed on the basis of the American box一[ype transformers, which optimizes the combination of oil-immersed power transformers with high and low voltage electrical components.Through structure optimization and miniaturization of the switching equipment, it has greatly narrowed the area of transformer combination. Its volume is only equivalent to 1/3~1/5 of the European box-type transformers with the same capacity. It is small in size, low in noise rational in structure, flexible in installation, easy in operation and has maximum depth in the load center. It is widely used in residential quarters, commercial centers, railroad stations, industrial and mining enterprises,airports, railroads, schools, hospitals and places of high-rise buildings.   Brief introduction to the products   Produd Structure The conventional American box-type transformer is of a structure divided into two parts. The front part is high and low voltage cabin, including 1QkV high voltage load switch, no-load tapping operating handle plug-in fuses, pressure release valve, oi! thermometer, oil level gauge, oil injection hole and oil discharge valve. The rear part is oi! tank and heat sink, transformer windings and core, high voltage load switch, no-load tapping switch and fuses for protection. The oil tank is of a sealing structure or of a structure, including high voltage cabin, transformer and low voltage cabin. High Voltage of American gox-Type Transformer The high-voltage terminals [single pass or double pass) of the ZG5 Series American box-Type Transformer fitted with high voltage bushing are used to connect elbow-type cable plug or elbow-type full insulated arresters and enclose the live parts in an insulation to form an insulation structure. The terminal surface is not charged to ensure personal safety. In case of emergency, the cable plug can be charged and also play the role of the load switch. According to the requirements, the lire display or the fault indicator can be mounted on the gable plug. A wall hanging is welded on the wall of the front cabin near the high-voltage bushing for fixing the support type insulation bushing joint. When unplug the live cable plug, it could be pluged immediately on the support type bushing joint. Fuse of American box-Type Transformer The ZGS Series American Box-Type Transformer adopts two sub-series protection with the plug-in fuse and back-up current-limiting fuse. The protection is advanced, economic, reliable and easy to operate. Plug一in fuse is used for over-current small一scale breaking (including the short-circuit fault at the low-voltage side). In case of the transformer overload and high temperature, the fuse is mainly used to protect the combined transformer. The backup current-limiting fuse is used for the wide range fault current breaking, mainly the short-circuit fault at the high-voltage side of the transformer, for cutting off the transformer and protecting the high voltage transmission line. 10kV Load Switch The 10kV oil-immersed load switch is a three一phase linked switch with springs used for breaking and closing operation of the load. The load switch is of two position or four position structure. The two position switch is used for the terminal type power supply while the four-position switch is used for the ring or double power supply. Low Voltage Cabin In the low-voltage cabin, there are outgoing terminals. According to the requirements, fixed in the cabin there are low- voltage main and branch circuit breakers, low-voltage current and voltage measuring meters and automatic reactive power compensation devices. In accordance with the user's requirements, the axial flow fan could be installed at the top of the low-voltage cabin. the cooling of the fan could be automatically controled by the special temperature controled equipment according to the temperature in the cabin. The integrated distribution tester with the function of telemetry and remote information and supplemented with low-voltage and under-voltage control device could be fixed according to the requirements.
